1. Inquiry
As soon as you as you both inquire, I start to get very excited about the possibility of working with you! From there, we schedule a phone call or a Facetime call and I answer any questions that you might have for me.
2. Consultation
I take this time to learn some more about you two, your love story, and your wedding plans. We then go through the itinerary of wedding day and I’ll make a recommendation on how many hours of coverage you might need to fully capture everything you’ve outlined for me. At this point, if you feel confident that you want me to capture your special day then I send over a contract and an invoice for you to review. A 50% retainer is then collected and I officially become your photographer!
3. Planning
Now, the fun begins! We start to work together to figure out where you and your partner want to take your engagement photos. Do you enjoy hiking? Maybe a picnic instead? We discuss a number of these options in depth and plan an engagement session that truly capture you and your partner’s love. At this point I’m also here for you for whatever you need. If you have any questions about the planning process, need some advice, or just want to talk - I’m more than happy to text, call, or meet up for coffee. I’ll do whatever I can to take some weight off your shoulders!
4. Engagement Photos
The engagement shoot is such a great opportunity for us to get to know each other even better and for you both to get comfortable with me taking your photos. That way, on your wedding day, there’s no discomfort when you see me walking around taking countless photos of you both. This is also an amazing opportunity for you both to celebrate your love without the crowd of the wedding day present.
5. Wedding Day
Congratulations! Your wedding day is finally here! I’m gonna show up ready to work incredibly hard to get you the best photos possible! I’ll be guiding you through photo opportunities, organizing your family and friends, and capturing all the special details of the day. I try my best to be a fly on the wall most of the day so I can capture all the authentic moments of it. I’ll still be easy to find though so you can always call me if there’s any specific photos you want taken! Ultimately, I want you to be happy and have the best day of your life, so whatever you need from me to make that happen, let me know!
